I felt called to the role of medical negligence solicitor many years ago, prior to qualification.
Before coming into the legal sector, I worked in a care setting as a care giver and I felt immense empathy and interest towards those I served. I recognised that those needing my care were vulnerable but had once successfully navigated life independently and now relied on me and those I worked with to be respectful, to listen, to care and to help make well. It was incredibly rewarding.
Working on behalf of those who have been affected by medical negligence is a highly complex and specialist area of law to prove that avoidable harm has arisen in a healthcare setting. The skills I learnt working with people have transferred to my current role. Most people who seek my input and instruction simply do not want anyone else to suffer as they or their loved one have, and they want to seek accountability and financial justice.
My practice is deep rooted in this specialist area of law, with years of experience working alongside valued clients, listening and learning from their ordeals and pursuing successful outcomes whilst making their voices heard.
